In La Línea Imaginaria, London based Latin American musician Alvarezz explored the tension between his often competing Latin American and European identities. In his first full lenght release, Alvarezz uses found sound and recorded media from across Latin American to explore themes of alienation, violence and imagined history. A photograph of Centro Urbano from the 70s, an iconic neighborhood in San Salvador, is combined with bold, abstract typography to portray the tension of the competing identities reflected in his music.
