Pape Salter Teillet is a law firm that has partnered with Indigenous Nations across Canada for over 45 years. Underline was engaged to develop and design a comprehensive new brand, including a logo, website, digital and print templates, stationery system, and brand launch materials.
The logo is inspired by semi-circles—representing both the journey PST takes with its clients and the ongoing pursuit of justice by Indigenous Peoples across generations. By definition, semi-circles are incomplete. They mark visible progress to date while suggesting the path that continues ahead. At their centre lies an implied perfect circle—symbolizing the fulfillment of an ambition and the realization of justice. The broader graphic system of arcs connects the current challenges facing Indigenous Nations in Canada to the solutions made possible by PST.
