Since 1948, The Advertising & Design Club of Canada has dedicated itself to one simple mission: inspiring creativity. As a non-profit organization, the organization strives to encourage the highest possible quality of work in Canadian advertising and design. Underline Studio was tasked with designing a bold new identity system that both celebrates the history of the ADCC, while also looking into the future.
Inspired by the club’s extensive history and its own wordmark from 1972, the new logo is formed from four squares as its most basic foundation, with a bold, modular and flexible graphic system inspired by modular grids that also allows endless flexibility to function across all of the ADCC’s territories. A bold colour palette and type family Neue Montreal by Canada’s Pangram Pangram further express excellence in Canadian advertising and design.
